Columbia Law International Students Alliance (CLISA)

Columbia Law International Students Alliance (CLISA) provides resources for international students studying at Columbia Law School. It advocates for international students’ interests at the Law School and the University level, recommending and petitioning the administration to take these members and their voices into consideration in the decision-making process. It also organizes networking and mentorship opportunities to provide guidance for international students, many of whom face unique difficulties while navigating the complex law school life in a foreign country.

Columbia Law Kennel Club (CLKC)

The Columbia Law Kennel Club's (CLKC) mission is to create a sense of community and support among students that are dog guardians or are considering dog guardianship. Many law students are either current dog guardians or are considering dog guardianship but may feel hesitant to do so considering the personal commitment and responsibility it poses. CLKC provides students with community, resources, and fun events for humans and pups alike.

Columbia Law Racquet Sports Club (CLRSC)

The Columbia Law Racquet Sports Club (CLRSC) promotes student bonding, mental health, and physical fitness via student participation in various racquet sports. CLRSC encourages new and returning players to practice and compete in a friendly and supportive environment. The organization holds intramural competitions, social events, and tournaments with other local law schools.

Columbia Law School Chilean Association

The mission of the Columbia Law School Chilean Association is to promote Chilean culture and identity within the Columbia Law community through academic, professional, social, and community service activities. The association aims to create a sense of belonging among Chilean students, students of Chilean heritage, and those who appreciate Chilean culture, as well as to create a space for events that spotlight Chile on the global stage here at Columbia Law School and New York City.

Columbia Law School Corporate Responsibility

CRA is dedicated to all things related to corporate responsibility, ranging from current engagements of corporates in social issues, the regulation process of corporate social responsibility, business and human rights, and ESG and SDG as they apply for corporates.  The group’s mission is to engage people from the legal profession and increase awareness about issues surrounding corporate responsibility, encourage interaction amongst students interested in been involved in corporate responsibility, improve regulation in the field and provide both educational and career development opportunities for members.

Columbia Law School Craft Beer Club

The Columbia Craft Beer Club is a student-founded organization devoted to the brewing and appreciation of craft beer, both local and international. As the craft beer community evolves and grows, it is increasingly recognized as an essential element of American culture and society. Our club’s mission is to expose the Columbia Law School community to the many facets of craft beer through tastings, outings, home-brewing sessions and tutorials, and other events open to all students.

Columbia Law School Disabled Law Students Association (DLSA)

Columbia Law School Disabled Law Students Association is an inclusive organization where students with disabilities and allies can receive academic and personal mentorship while advocating for positive change. It provides support to students and faculty and encourages a more inclusive environment by raising Columbia’s awareness about issues that disproportionately impact people with disabilities. Our members include those interested in disability law as well as those with a general interest in advocacy work. Members leave with friendships and a support system that continues after graduation.

Columbia Law School Francophone Society

The Columbia Law School Francophone Society promotes the culture, legal system and current legal issues of francophone countries by organizing academic, cultural, professional and social events within the Columbia Law School community. We encourage contacts between members of the francophone community and Columbia Law School community and we assist our members, regardless of their background or nationality, in seeking or considering undertaking professional or academic experiences in francophone countries by liaising with francophone learning, professional, and governmental institutions. Finally, we assist and mentor incoming Columbia Law School students, in particular those coming from francophone countries, with francophone ancestries or those with a particular interest in the culture of francophone countries.
