The Columbia Law School Chapter of the American Constitution Society will host a discussion on Against Forced Arbitration. The panel will feature remarks from Karen Cacace (NY AG, Labor Bureau Chief) and Myriam Gilles (Cardozo School of Law), moderated by Prof. Olatunde Johnson.
The conversation will explore the rise of forced arbitration, particularly in the employment law context. Learn why employers are increasingly forcing their employees to litigate their discrimination claims in front of private judges, how that process systematically disadvantages those employees, and what the path forward looks like. This event will be cosponsored by the Columbia Workers' Rights Student Coalition.
