Section Description
Prerequisite: Evidence
This seminar provides hands-on experience with the key aspects of trial practice in civil and criminal litigation. Simulated trial problems will be employed to familiarize students with pragmatic tactical issues and solutions. Written trial materials will be used in addition to in-class instruction and feedback. At the end of the semester, students will participate in a full-scale mock jury trial.
The seminar is open only to students who have completed Evidence. It does not fulfill the legal writing requirement.
