Hear why these 1Ls chose Columbia Law and what inspired them to attend law school.

Members of the J.D. Class of 2028 and the LL.M. Class of 2026 began their Columbia Law School journeys with information sessions, community building, and plenty of socializing. 

Members of the Columbia Law School LL.M. Class of 2025 have received fellowships that enable them to pursue their LL.M. degree at the Law School and expand their expertise in their chosen fields.

Members of the Class of 2025 share what Columbia Law School and their classmates have meant to them.

The year-long competition culminated with finalists Miles Kim ’25, Nicole Morote ’25, Alice Park ’25, and Akesh Shah ’25 arguing before a panel of judges. Morote won the prize for top oralist, and Kim won for best final-round brief.

Shah is a finalist in the 2025 Harlan Fiske Stone Moot Court Competition.

Park is a finalist in the 2025 Harlan Fiske Stone Moot Court Competition.

Kim is a finalist in the 2025 Harlan Fiske Stone Moot Court Competition.

Morote is a finalist in the 2025 Harlan Fiske Stone Moot Court Competition.

Nathan Porceng ’25 and Malik Sammons ’25 will join legal nonprofits to work on environmental and housing issues.
