Scott Ruskay-Kidd is a consultant on constitutional law, federal legislation, and reproductive rights. He previously served as a Senior Staff Attorney for Judicial Strategy at the Center for Reproductive Rights, where he led the amicus brief strategy in the last successful defense of the constitutional right to abortion in the U.S. Supreme Court, June Medical Services v. Russo (2020). Beforehand, he practiced complex commercial litigation at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.
Scott clerked for the Honorable Robert D. Sack of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Honorable Robert P. Patterson, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Scott graduated from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and a Senior Editor of the Columbia Law Review, and Harvard College, where he was a John Harvard Scholar and a Harvard National Scholar.
