Nicholas V Wiltsie

Nicholas Wiltsie is a public defender at The Legal Aid Society's Criminal Defense Practice in Brooklyn, NY, where he has practiced since graduating law school in 2016. Wiltsie is a fully certified trial attorney handling all levels of criminal cases from arraignment through their conclusion, up to and including hearings and trial. In 2022, Wiltsie joined Columbia Law School as a Lecturer in Law for Legal Practice Workshop.

Wiltsie earned a B.A. from Canisius College and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a founding board member of the Student Public Interest Network, founding president of the Public Defender Students of CLS, and a managing editor for the Human Right Law Review's Jailhouse Lawyer's Manual.
