Kevin Lam is the Supervising Attorney/Clinic Director for the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic at The Legal Aid Society. He oversees the clinic’s work in providing legal representation, legislative advocacy, trainings and outreach to low-income New Yorkers. Kevin represents clients in tax controversy matters before the Internal Revenue Service, New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, and U.S. Tax Court. Prior to joining The Legal Aid Society, Kevin was a senior staff attorney at Queens Legal Services, where he practiced tax and housing law. He received his J.D. from Cardozo School of Law.
