Joanne De Silva brings over thirty years of experience practicing law at leading international law firms, primarily as a partner. She has specialized in complex finance transactions and debt restructurings in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, with expertise in acquisition financings, private credit, recapitalizations, and growth capital investments.
She has been a featured speaker at numerous Continuing Legal Education programs with the Practicing Law Institute, and has led client presentations on topics such as market updates, credit agreement fundamentals, and intercreditor arrangements.
Throughout her career, she has been actively engaged in mentoring and training. She is also a certified lawyer coach, committed to helping students develop the skills and confidence to excel in their professional lives.
Joanne earned her law degree from Oxford University (Jurisprudence) in 1991 and has been admitted to the bar in New York, England, and Singapore.
