Amy Sennett

Amy Sennett is SVP and General Counsel at Karat, the world’s largest interviewing company. In this role, she provides guidance to Karat’s leadership team and Board of Directors on a wide range of corporate, commercial, privacy and employment matters. Amy previously served as the General Counsel for the cybersecurity business of OpenText, a global, publicly-traded information management software company. During that time, she rebuilt a fully remote legal team, integrated with the global commercial function, and supported the acquisition and integration of multiple new product lines. From 2017 through 2020, Amy held various legal roles at Catalant Technologies, a venture-backed, talent marketplace tech company. After becoming General Counsel in 2019, Amy helped guide the company through its Series E equity and debt fundraise and built and managed the company’s compliance, data privacy and info security functions. 

Amy began her career as a litigator with WilmerHale and a law clerk on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She holds a JD/MBA from Harvard University and a BA from Princeton University. Amy is a member of the bar in Massachusetts, New York and Washington, D.C.. She has been twice elected to the Board of Directors of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts and received the organization’s Emerging Young Leader Award in 2022. She is currently the DC Chapter President for the L Suite, the leading peer community for tech company GCs and CLOs.
