Columbia Journal of Race and Law Volume 15 Spring Symposium

The Columbia Journal of Race and Law is pleased to present its Volume 15 2025 Symposium.

The mission of the Columbia Journal of Race and Law (CJRL) is to establish a dialogue on historic and contemporary notions of socio-political and legal challenges facing racial and ethnic minorities. We hope to embrace the continual importance of prioritizing this discourse as a means of better understanding contemporary issues, in addition to embarking on new paths for social progress.

This spring, our Symposium is centered around issues involving executive power and its intersection with areas of racial justice — particularly immigration, voting rights, economic justice, and education, among others. The Symposium will feature various speakers presenting their recent scholarship on this topic, followed by a panel discussion involving experts in the field. A reception is to follow after.
