Section 001 Information
Section Description
This course will explore the sophisticated art of deal-making both in the context of out-of-court restructuring agreements and in court-supervised Chapter 11 reorganization cases. The majority of the course will examine the multitude of foundational elements of what goes into formulating a restructuring deal for major companies across a wide spectrum of industries. The course will lead up to the last six classes where we will engage in an interactive group roleplay activity regarding strategic Chapter 11 plan formulation and configuration based on two hypothetical fact patterns in two different industries.
