Section Description
This course will introduce students to the basic doctrines and principles of U.S. intellectual property law, focusing on patents, copyright and trademark law. The class discussion will emphasize the scope, architecture and rationale for different doctrines, their interaction with new technological developments, and the ways in which these doctrines have come to be created, reformed and updated over the course of the last century.
